In the beginning, my idea was very simple and practical. Provide help to eat less and move more, because that's all overweight people need to do, right? Well, I realised VERY quickly that, that phrase is a very naive stereotype, that really explains NOTHING about what's really going on. I also realised that I needed to find out the "why" beneath the struggles and then become an expert in it. As a result, what I do with the women I meet is SO MUCH MORE than your average diet and why I'm on a mission to wipe them off the planet!
Everything utterly essential to long term success, has NOTHING to do with food. Therefore can NEVER be fixed by a diet. Feelings of frustration, deeply felt emotions, constraints of life's programming, negative self talk, limiting core beliefs, fear of failure and/or success, need for approval, self judgement, anxiety of standing out; this is what needs to be addressed. All of which, I teach from experience. I live everything I teach and I teach everything I've lived. Regardless of size we are all the same.
A balanced and happy relationship with food, and any resulting weight loss, has NOTHING to do with rules, following plans, counting calories or points, being on a "plan" so that you can come off it again. In fact, it actually has very little to do with food and absolutely NOTHING to do with willpower at all. Fixing the food is the easy part! Once you've undone the damage the diets have done, the work is ALL internal.
Success is EVERYTHING to do with self discovery, empowerment, light bulb moments, conscious shifts in awareness and learning to honour emotions in order to become the person you were destined to be and are suffocating with food and weight.
I believe in you, your intelligence and abilities. I believe you deserve to be happy, in yourself, with your relationship with food and in your life. I believe in awareness, empowerment and abundance and when they are enhanced in your life, you can achieve everything your heart desires, especially a life FREE of struggle with your food and weight. I believe you can STOP dieting, so you can START living!
